Ditto on the thrill of making new blog friends....you are the best.

I'm glad the tea is a hit. I'll be sure to let the owners of the shop know their goods are being enjoyed on the other side of the country.

The tank looks so happy in her new home with her ready-to-be-recycled companions :)

Very pretty, soft looking cashmere. Can't wait to see what it'll become in its next incarnation. I've always thought about recycling yarn from sweaters, but I'm extremely lazy. The thought of blocking out the kinks makes me cringe! But yay for recycling!

I love blog friends! I also love the cashmere you will be recycling. For whatever reason, I never consider this when I am looking at store bought sweaters that I regulalry donate to goodwill/sa, I think I need to start thinking more practically...

After your initial blog post on recycling the cashmere hat, I immediately dug into my pile of clothes I no longer wear destined for the salvation army. I found about 6 sweaters I think I can salvage decent yarn from (why did I never think about recycling yarn in this manner??). I may be asking you for support for that first unraveling session since I'm not sure where to begin! :)

Very nice gesture from Mel--this community continues to amaze me with its kindness! I can't wait to see what you'll make out of the recycled yarn!

So glad you liked Joe Purdy-very distinctive style and voice!
