A very happy find. I have only had time to read a couple of pieces from the current issue, but this, it is a very good thing. Take the time to read their mission and an article or two, and I'll bet you will be hooked as well. The intersection of craft, design, and social/environmental responsibility, I don't think it gets much better than that.

And I can't mention HandEye without the source of this find, Craftivism by local author Betsy Greer, and The Creative Life a discussion between Betsy and Kim Werker about making their own way in a nontraditional/creative field. Both of which have spawned long bouts of thinking & dreaming.

My friend Heather has made a wager with Pete, the webmaster of MSF-UK’s p/hop site - who recently knit his first scarf for a $500 donation. If he knits a sock, she'll match that.
