Just amazing, your stories make me want to do more!

On the emissions/offset front, for things like donated patterns you could send them via email rather than sending paper copies? Ask folks donating physical items to wait and ship them to the winner, rather than you and then the winner? Just some ideas for next year.

Thanks so much for this post Mel. For more description on the event itself, for the quotes, for the pictures. It gave me a better understanding of the size and impact of such an event…(incredible the amount you and Tad were able to raise and !WOW! on the amount the event raised as a whole!! Research is not cheap unfortunately!)…and the people you share this with each year. What a family to have!

And thank you so much for wearing the names of my friends. I can’t say how much that means to me.

ps–if you find an option to offset the effect of shipping transportation, I will gladly take care of mine.
