Time well spent

We spent most of the last week with various members of Tad’s family, and took advantage of as much time as possible with one in particular:
Our sweet niece, AB. What an awesome little person she is! I had plunked down beside her on the couch with a project, just before bedtime, and she asked me “Are you knit-ting?” (her mother knits as well – in fact, her mother is the person who taught me to knit.) “Yes, AB, I’m knitting a sock.” “You knit mittens for Anna Belle?”
How could I refuse?
We went stash diving the next morning for some purple yarn (her favorite color).
There goes my theory on Christmas knitting!
I hope whether you were celebrating a holiday last week or not, that you have been having some time well spent too!

What a sweet photo! My girlie LOVES her aunties too. It’s such a fun and special relationship. And oh my gosh – AB’s blankie looks identical to Mina’s, right down to the used-to-be-pink color!

Great photo of you and your niece–she looks like she’s a little pistol! (that’s a compliment!).
