MMMMM that merino/silk – such colors! I wishwish wish I hadn’t had to go to that wedding during MDSW – I would have had a much better time with the animals and you than the alcohol soaked wedding folk!

And you know, you’re just SUPPOSED to lose your mind at a fiber festival – or at a knitting retreat, when my mind was completely lost in March!

I vaguely remember this idea of getting back home during the time of the MDSW this year…there’s always next year I guess!

Beautiful purchases lady–whatever you make with that peace fleece will be gorgeous! I feel the same as you whenever I buy yarn…this feeling of guilty consumerism. But I also think we have to allow ourselves some indulgences on occasion…especially when those indulgences support local or indie farms/artisans!

My stash was weighing heavily on my last year, but not so much now. I’m not sure if that’s because I’ve knit it down quite a bit (and curtailed purchases for several months) or if I’ve relaxed my level of stash acceptance!

LOVE your fiber finds! I almost went last-minute to MDSW too, but it was just too difficult to pull together with work. Maybe next year, and I’m definitely going to SAFF!

Oh, that spindle. I’ve been using my Golding spindle for years now and I just love it. He does such amazing work, doesn’t he? I keep wanting to try one of his wheels at MDSW but I think that might be dangerous.

gorgeous fiber and spindle! i have been internet-stalking spinning wheels instead of writing papers this week, and as soon as i am done, i intend to go somewhere and figure out if i am single or double treadle kind of girl. sigh. sounds like you had a wonderful time!
